[ text of the video ]
"My name is Andy Silver and I work as a performance coach using hypnosis and NLP. NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming and I've been coaching clients using hypnosis and NLP for 20 years. My website is ResolutionExperts.com. In this segment, hypnotizing someone, this client will enter a room of deep realization and have an experience in hypnosis that she can then use every night when she goes to sleep at home. Hopefully sleeping deeper than she has slept before.
What I want you to do is image that you're standing in front of a house. So as you settle into the chair, breathing more deeply, you're finding yourself perhaps in front of a house. This is a very usual house. This house is 12 feet hight, 12 feet wide, and 36 feet long.
And there are three rooms. One behind the other. This structure stands over a basement and there are three steps that lead up to the house. So I want you to walk up to and open the front door. And as you do you step into the first room. It's a very unusual room because there's only one piece of furniture in the room. A reclining chair. The carpeting, the walls, the ceiling, the upholstery, and the chair are all beautiful sunny yellow and that's why this room is called the yellow room. And the chair looks so inviting that you walk over to it, sit down, push it back into a wonderfully reclined position.
Very comfortable. You feel so relaxed you feel like you could just deep, sink into this chair, and as you do you let your mind drift to a pleasant experience you had in the recent few days or weeks. A wonderful experience. And now that memory causes you to feel even more relaxed. However, it's time to get up from this chair and move to second door way and step inside. And this second room is almost identical to the first except the color is gold. This is the gold room, and there's that reclining chair in the middle of the room. Since your experience was so good the first time, you walk to the recliner chair again, sit down in it, you just lean back and as you do you bring into mind the memory of a very pleasant experience of the last few days or months. Good.
And now it's time to get up from that chair and move into the third room. This is the blue room. It's exactly like the first two, except for the blue color. And you walk to that chair, sit down in it, and lean back, and as you lean back, there's something very interesting occurring. What's occurring is the chair is now on a hydraulic hoist, and it begins to slowly move down. It's going down into that lower level, passing right through the floor, and as you're going down deeper, sitting in a very relaxed, comfortable position. And now the chair stops and you're down in the basement. And as you stand up from the chair, there's one door ahead with a sign that says the room of deep relaxation. You walk to the door, turn the knob, and step inside. And as you close the door behind you, it's so deeply relaxed and it's very, very peaceful in there.
There's complete silence. And it's very dark, but gradually you can see a rosy glow. And there's a strange feeling beneath your feet because you're standing on a foam rubber pad which is three inches thick. Now the door being closed and your eyes have slowly become accustomed to the room so you see this rosy glow in the room. You take a few more steps in and you decide to sit down. And you feel the soft foam three inches thick, cradling you so comfortably, you just decide to lay back.
All the light in the room is gone and the room is filled with total silence and peacefulness. And as you lay there, this peacefulness moves throughout your mind. Your mind is filled with peacefulness. And the same state of peacefulness is available to you in your own home.
Sleeping deeply each night as you lay down on your own mattress and imagine everything in your mind is just dropping down into this foamy cushion beneath you and all you need to say at home is foamy cushion as you go deeply into a relaxed state, sleeping more deeply at night; maybe deeper than you've ever slept, letting everything go into the foam underneath. And now as we begin to bring ourselves back into this room on the count of five, keeping your eyes closed, one, feeling the floor underneath you and the chair behind you. Two, starting to stretch and move, three, taking a deep breath. Four, five, alert, refreshed, revitalized, feeling very, very good. Wonderful."
