Learning to Teach Online: A New Approach

I finished a course on teaching online that taught me a lot. Considering there is a huge push to move to put some part of education online, it is essential to value teaching online as a key to teaching students about technology and relevant subject.

It had many discussions and project ideas. We learned from each other and talked about staying in touch through LinkedIn. We shared resources and websites to help each other.

This course was about more than just learning. It was about making connections and getting ready for a future where we can teach from anywhere. We looked at online courses that make learning available to more people, even in places where it is hard to get education.

We learned how to use technology to make classes more fun and interesting. This course showed me that teaching is changing. We need to be ready to teach in new ways. This is important for teachers who want to help their students learn in any situation.

I am excited about what I can do as a teacher now. This course has made me more confident. In the course, we learned new ways to help students.  The challenges for students to learn online include equity and high need students. We discussed how these can be catered Learning is an ongoing journey, and there is always more we can do. Some of the websites that I came to explore were:

Typeform - polls, and quiz that you can integrate in Google Sites, Padlet recording feedback using an online board.

These were some recommendations after the course:

"

Attend conferences and workshops (eg through CIS Ontario- bonus points for spotting yours truly at one of the excellent recent UnConferences."

When you ask Universe for help, what happens?

Will something happen?
Will nothing happen?
What it means to ask for help from the Universe?

What if you wear real life snake in your zoo visit # 36

Hmmmm. It would be awkward but apparently that's the only thing available to be worn as a scarf.

It some how seems that when I publish something

It reveals more about me. Hmmmm, that's interesting. Anyway, what needs to be done, needs to be done.

So get ready to read some of my short stories, a novel (not done yet), a poetry book and a play.

I'm not sure, how to publish it or anything. I just wrote them! And it took years and years. I'm thinking of Kickstarter or Amazon. I'm not sure. Any suggestions?

50 Stories finished. Reading and re-reading and re-reading due.

  1. Making sense out of those stories is a must. Plus, metaphorizing is a must. Plus, loads of other things.
  2. I completed writing the stories on 1st April 2013.
  3. Novel is 30 pages down. Still lots more to write. A play is done, which was completed I guess on 21 December 2012.
  4. Loads of poems, that needs a space in a magazine or in a book form.
  5. So, these sorts of different format books are to be published this year or the next year.
  6. My business policy. You sell the book, 50% mine and 50% yours :)

I wish you change.

One can only hope that you will change.

Moments of pain
Moments of pleasure
Without you, is nothing

Darkened-doorway to hell
That's it. If you don't change.

The language once used for you...

Now it seems to be used for kids. It doesn't make sense.

So, I didn't post a poem. I wrote it and saved it for publication later on.

I mean, I know it is one of my better poems I've constructed, and I didn't want to put it out, right now. But yes, sometimes it should and everything should be given/posted at whimsy. Because, lets face it who reads me? And if you are one of those computer slash Internet kids, you 'virtually' have all your friends and no in real life which boils down to random surfing and random reading and random everything.

[On Managing Life] - So, how difficult is to work out anything when you feel frustrated?

First of all, what work am I talking about. In my case the work I've in mind for this short para that I'm writing is, scheduling a task.

How can we schedule a task when we are confused? You can simply pick a piece of paper and start putting the tasks you need to do. Or a better version is, simply lay down and ask yourself what are the 3 immediate tasks you have to do. The immediate priority ones. And start with them. Until they are done, don't jump to other tasks.

I've given mine. What are Your tips I'd love to hear.

The trouble with Internet is its boring?

Or is it? Okay, let's take a red balloon for example. If you want to see it online you have x amount of options. If you yourself is a search-engine-optimum you will go through the process of killing yourself.

Life is not about spending time on Reddit :( but somehow it is. And Wikipedia is. And wimp is. And social networking is.

I truly think we are in virtual void. Somehow those stuck in this void either enjoy this void or call it 'life'.

What do you think? Do you need a real person to communicate in life? How many times have you sat on Internet and surfed only one website out of billion sites?

[As always the response from the internet is bewildering. You people are constantly commenting on this article. I just don't know which comment I should post. Most of them are about penises and viagra. I don't know why? I just know that I'm on internet.]

Why do you want to ink a ferry fellow?

Because he is ink. Has no ink-means. That is truly brutal of you. Amazing! Is another word to capture the feeling.

Very disappointed I am. I would rather not yank in ink jam any more.

Sad.

WTF: "I use the Kindle app more than Kindle" Jenna

"I'm just lazy opening my Kindle touch because I have Kindle app on my pod!" my friend (Jenna) said this while lying on the bed and wondering why Ibsen's The Lady and the Sea is not appearing the app.

I was like 'seriously dude! The whole point of Kindle is that it gives you no eye strain!'

Did your friend become an idiot for their beloved iPod/iPhone etc app?

11 out of 12 hours of emergency need to travel!

Ok! This is true the little doll 'F' very little or you may say (4 1/2 year old) just made her mama cry for like hours.

Can't give you anything. Just my memory, and hmmm getting to the point I had to travel from 14 PM to almost 14 AM just to drop the kid and come back.

Almost 10 to 11 straight traveling.

Met an angel, two grown ups too. Wrote a poem for my special kid and
Showed my passion to see the angel grow in real life.

I don't see myself to be right there for the kid. Anyways, I need to complete this assignment of mine. It's the last one wish me nothing. I don't know which search-not will read this crap.

I had a flu for like a week. So I thought

I'd give a shout out to all those leaky-leaky people.

SOUP demands YOU.
Black Pepper invites YOU.
Food and more food desires YOU.
Good or funny movie refreshes YOU.
Oh! I know you are tired. Talk mister
Talk as much as you can.
YOU. YOU. YOU. Need to be around people.

Anyways people I'm going to tell you a fact: flu is the most contagious and death causing SHIT ever!!!

Deepak Chopra!

Hmmm, just see his YouTube videos. His son Gotham recently launched a new YouTube channel -- The Chopra Well --

People if you believe in Alternative Medicine tell me why?

People, people, PEOPLE!!!!

If you don't know about CHRIS GETHARD, you have to! Because his shows are crazy. For (genius) losers. His shows are funny and spontaneously-unique.

You have to watch in order to know what I'm talking about.

Today I saw a video in which he was searching for his biggest fan. It was dullistically funny.
