Time Magazine: Richest Man on Earth Asaf Jah VII

 

It was first time in history a person from sub-continent achieved this feat of being the richest.

Once considered by Time Magazine the wealthiest person on Earth. Came on the cover of Time Magazine On February 22, 1937.

His wealth fell due to inflation and all that, from 2 billion dollars to 1 billion dollars in his time. Still the richest person in history in the Asian region.

But in all time list Asaf Jah VII 5th richest person in the history of the world.

He had 20 sons and 19 daughters from seven wives something like that. Damn! He was busy.

His total worth is $225 billion (in 2008 US dollars). Obviously he was once a baby, his life time started on April 6, 1886 – ended on February 24, 1967.

He was the last Nizam/ruler of the Princely State of Hyderabad. Hyderabad was because of him the richest state of the sub-continent quiet possibly the world( Can't say for sure as far as the world goes, so, possibly comes into place.)
