ORACLE(oracle.com ) and SUN ( sun.com ) announce acquisition agreement - 3 SENTENCES

1. Sun and Oracle announced an agreement for Oracle to acquire Sun for $9.50 per share in cash.

2. The Sun Board of Directors (BOD) has unanimously approved the transaction.

3. It is anticipated to close this summer, subject to Sun stockholder approval,  certain regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
